Sewing for Nepal

Here are just a few pictures from our "Sewing for Nepal" day that was held last week. We had a great turnout and were able to complete over a dozen comforters. 
There is an urgent need for 2,000 comforters (according to Mennonite Central Committee) and it was great to be able to help out even if it was only a small portion of the great need!
We are tentatively planning another sewing day in June so if you are interested in helping in any way give us a call!

This is a stunning quilt that is full of soft pinks and beautiful floral prints. The picture does not do it justice so stop in the store to see it in person! :)

This kit contains all of the fabric for the top, including borders and binding. 

The fabric is identical to our model.

The pattern is The Cottage by Lavender Lime and is included with the purchase of the kit.
